Stereoscope Collection By Material
Classifying by material can be a bit tricky as many stereo viewers, especially some of my favorite steampunk styles, are made of multiple materials. Whatever material makes up the majority of the “body” of the stereo viewer is what I’ve classified it under — this may exclude the lenses, lens housings, faceplates, handles, stands, advance levers, etc. And I’m still not great at distinguishing some plastics from bakelite so don’t hate, educate! Contact me and let me know what you know.
