Juwel Universal Stereoscop-Apparat

Germany, 1910s

Beautiful, textured, dark green stereoscope for viewing paper or glass views. It’s made in Germany but the box and insert have text in English, German, and French. The design of the viewer is very similar to smaller Mignon Stéréo Viewer, right down to the silver embossing on the viewer and the multi-language text insert. One difference, besides the size, is that this viewer has a opening on the top to let in light.
