Tru-Life Stereoscope

Australia, 1950s

This rare viewer from Sydney seems to be an exact copy of the ColourScope viewer from England. So far, we’ve been unable to unearth any useful information about Tru-Life (the name on the viewer, box, and views), George Glover (also printed on the box) or Youth Photo Lab (printed on the views). The series numbering on the light blue stereoview cards, which are designed with one stereoview pair at each end of the card, indicate that there are at least 23 series. This particular set has images of the Jenolan Caves in New South Wales (NSW).
