Magical Stereoscope

Japan, 1950s

This wood stereo viewer is covered with textured paper and has a diffuser opening on top (instead of in the back) to let in light. There are no moving or adjustable parts. We have a similar Japanese viewer in our collection that is black, which is the color we see more often. This is our first time seeing this print.
