Steinheil Altostereoscope

As stated on its label, the Altostereoscope was designed for stereo images taken with Steinheil’s Altostereo Quart camera line which was developed in 1903-1905. Carl August von Steinheil founded the company in 1855. The company made optical equipment until the 1990s, undergoing multiple variations on the company name due to various acquisitions.
