Folding Brewster Stereoscope
We don’t have any information yet on this vintage folding Brewster-style stereoscope. It’s made of maroon, leather-covered cardboard and folds compactly to fit its case. The design of the fold pattern is similar to leather folding viewers made around the 1860s. The open design and lack of cardholder suggest this was used for viewing stereo pairs mounted in books — similar to the Smith, Beck & Beck mirror stereoscope.
