Bruguière No. 9 Stereo Viewer
France, 1950s
The beautiful red snakeskin-textured Bruguière No. 9 is part of George Bruguière's line of stereo viewers. The body is made of cardboard and the back piece slides in and out to focus the view. This one came into our collection with a box of Stereocolor slides of Château de Malmaison, which was once Josephine & Napoleon Bonaparte's private estate.
