HSV Stereo Viewer
Germany, 1950s
We love collapsible viewers. We’re unsure what company is behind the HSV logo but we commend them for this creative design. The design and texture are reminiscent of the LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin viewer but HSV has managed to add focusing capability with a cardholder that slides back and forth on a spindle. The “clip” cardholder allows the viewer to accommodate several stereoview sizes. We had viewing success with 30 x 70 mm, 45 x 107 mm, and 6 x 13 cm stereoviews.
