Bandai Doraemon 3D Print Viewer

This green, plastic viewer is an accessory to the Bandai Doraemon 110 film 3D camera. The lenses on the viewer swing up and out sideways for interocular adjustment and the print holder moves back and forth to adjust focus. The set, sold only in Japan, was more of a toy / novelty item rather than a genuine stereo photography kit for more serious 3D pursuits. Doraemon, is the name of the robotic cat character pictured on the box. The character first starred in a 1960s manga magazine series and later appeared in cartoons and movies. The Bandai company also produced the Demerama 3D viewer.
