Rin Tin Tin, also known as Rinty, was a German Shepard dog that appeared in the television series “The Adventures of Rin Tin.” Well, actually, Rin Tin Tin was the name of several different related dogs all named after the original Rin Tin Tin born in 1918 in France. Furthermore, the dog in the ‘50s television series was actually named Flame, Jr.
