Originally manufactured by Rock Island Bridge & Iron Works and later acquired by Sawyer’s, the creation & marketing of the Tru-Vue stereoscope holds a unique place in 3D history. Of everything in our collection, Tru-Vue is our largest and most researched sub-collection. It’s where our collection started and where the most acquisition efforts have been invested. Given that, it may seem odd that Tru-Vue items are not posted often on our Instagram site and has taken 2 years to appear on our website. Well, there’s a LOT to photograph and write - but stay tuned, the Tru-Vue launch IS coming and it’s going to be big.
