Feb ‘26 - May ‘26: What’s New in What’s Old

During the 4 months from February to May, we were ecstatic to snag:

  • A couple of viewers we’ve been waiting a LONG time for — the VIVO & Stereo-Cine.

  • A couple of viewers from Poland — a beautifully customized Suchard Camerascope and a never-before-heard-of 3D film viewer, the Kino.

  • Three viewers from the UK. Two we’d never seen before — the Merit Stori-Viewer & clear Coronet — were compliments of our collector friend & UK connection. And the battery-operated Photax that we’d seen before, but were just waiting for the right one to come along.

  • A rare Keystone Junior set featuring stereoviews from the “Wings of a Century” exhibit at the 1933 World’s Fair.

  • A fairly large stereographoscope with a splash of colored stones.

  • A few others — the Idealoskop, Fitaskop, and Dexterama — as new versions of existing viewers in our collection.

Stay tuned for upcoming blog posts featuring new, rare additions to our collection from Japan, and tours of our commercial Camerascope and Corte-Scope stereoviews. Meanwhile, enjoy these newcomers!
