Feb ‘22: What’s New in What’s Old
In this first edition of “What’s New in What’s Old”, we share particularly noteworthy items that are new to the website and collection. Our goal is for this to be a monthly feature.
A few recent additions to the website:
Aussie Super Views (this was missing too long from our collection)
Casanova Cigaretten (the iconic embossed dog sold us)
De Dion Bouton (too unique for words and it’s an advertising piece)
L. D. Sibley (creative wood design win from the 19th century)
Marte 2000 (because Spain!)
Pavelle Color (unusual and not many still out there)
Stereomax (not many collectors have seen one in real life)
Tridimagen (because Argentina!)
Yashica (cardboard 3D from Japan is always a yes)
We’re also excited to welcome these recent new additions to our collection. They’re patiently awaiting their photo shoot:
Hollywood View-a-Scope (our first coin-operated viewer!)
A colorful new addition to our miniature tin stereoscope collection
Stay tuned for a new anaglyph section of the website where we’ll share some unique anaglyph items from early in the 20th century.
