Feb‘25 - Jun ‘25: What’s New in What’s Old
We’re excited to share this eclectic set of stereo viewers that date from 1875 to 1985. A couple of them, the Lewis Cylindrical Drum and the Planox Apescope, have been in our collection for a few years but have never been posted on our website. The rest are new to our collection. All of them demonstrate the numerous ways people have tried to make 3D viewing more appealing, more convenient, or more promotional. Half of them include stereoview storage as part of the design. We hope you enjoy learning a bit about them!
