Aug / Sep ‘23: What’s New in What’s Old

We took a summer break during August so we’re doubling up for this edition and bringing you two months of updates to our collection. We’re probably most excited about the rarest additions: the Vivascope and the Novelview prototype. However, the improbable acquisition of TWO different Corte-Scope sets documenting major tire and rubber companies in the 1910s has to be appreciated. It’s hard enough to find just one Corte-scope set. And while we already have the silver Corte-Scope viewer that came with these sets, the real value is in the historical significance of the stereoviews. Finally, if you have a lithographed NPG viewer obsession, we’ve got your fix: we added 15 new ones to our collection, bringing our total to 44. Only five of them are highlighted below, but you can see the rest on our NPG page.
