Whiting’s Magic Photo Album Educator
United States, 1920s
Produced by the American Novelty Company in the early 1900s, the copper-tinged stamped metal of Whiting's Magic Photo Album Educator lends a steampunk feel to this 3D viewer. Rotatable lenses allow viewing of single images and the whole thing collapses flat. Brothers Richard & William Whiting started the American Novelty Company in 1913 and are probably better known for creating the Sculptoscope drum viewer.

Multi-Image Stereoview for the Magic Photo Album Educator
Possibly an advertisement stereoview for the Magic Photo Album Educator, this multi-image stereoview features a poem called “The Invalid’s Touring Car,” which could be a reference to the stereoscope. The words “Pat Apd For” are shown in the center of the photo, and text at the bottom indicates it was exhibited at the Century of Progress world’s fair.
