Stereo-Rama
Italy, 1950s-60s
Stereo-Rama was a popular View-Master clone in Italy during the ‘50s and ‘60s. There were simple plastic models, nicer bakelite models, and even a special focusing model. The Stereo-Rama brand changed ownership several times over the years. The models below were produced under either I.F.A.S. (1950s), Bromostampa (1959-1960), or Technofilm (1960s) ownership.
I.F.A.S. “Standard” Stereo-Rama
I.F.A.S. Special Stereo-Rama, Focusing
Bromostampa Marbled “Standard” Stereo-Rama
Technofilm Marbled “Standard” Stereo-Rama with Modified Light Diffuser
Technofilm Yellow & Black Plastic Stereo-Rama
Unlike most plastic Stereo-Rama viewers produced by Technofilm, this one has two colors instead of one, has a v-shape design on top like the View-Master Model E instead of a u-shape, and doesn’t have visible screws on the diffuser side.
Stereo-Rama Reel
This is just one example. Stereo-Rama reels come in a variety of colors and sleeve designs.
