La Bourboule Stereoscope

France, 1900s

La Bourboule was a scenic spot in 19th century France and this beautifully printed tin stereo viewer, modelled after the Pocket Rotoscope, was a souvenir for visitors. It advertises their mineral water from the Choussy & Perriere springs as a cure for anemia, diabetes, respiratory ailments, and dermatoses. La Bourboule is still considered a spa town today.
