Jun ‘23: What’s New in What’s Old

We’re proud to present an exciting line-up of vintage viewer additions for June! This group includes various materials — including beautiful wood and colorful lithographed tin. One of the wood stereoscopes — the Beckers sweetheart stereoscope — has actually been in our collection for almost 3 years but has never been photographed or featured until now. Similarly, we’ve had the Perfecscope and Stereo-graphoscope for a couple of years already and are happy to finally get them on stage. We’re making good progress digging into our 3D viewer backlog! The others shown below are much newer to our collection, including the mysteriously branded Olimpic-3 View-Master, the fabulously octagonal Cadwell, and a wood tabletop viewer that takes roll paper stereoviews (and it has the same name as a viewer we featured last month!) Finally, 3 more lithographed NPG tin viewers (if you’re keeping track, that brings our count to 30!) and an expandable A. B. stereo viewer in great condition. Happy exploring!
