Ace Vue Stereo Viewer

The Ace Vue is a compact, collapsible cardboard stereoscope made by Tokyo Stereo Photo, Ltd., and marked with Patent No. 398739. Rather than using a conventional focusing mechanism, the viewer is adjusted simply by squeezing its sides to bring the stereo image into focus. Its design is essentially the same as the collapsible Taylor Merchant stereo viewer and, similar to the Taylor Merchant, the Ace Vue viewer was easy to include with packaged sets of stereoviews. Pictured below are four packaged sets, each containing one Ace Vue viewer and six color stereoviews of nude women.
